See the image? Can someone make the picture? I like a lot the one that Aran did for the Member Database. Edit: Thumbnail fixed. 1. Why do you call this a "Firefox" icon? It has nothing to do with Firefox. 2. I didn't make that. The little spider I used for the Member Database was copied from Jeff's main website - see spidweb.com. So I suppose you ask him to copy the icon from the spiderwebsoftware.com site to the ironycentral.com site. However, since he doesn't want this icon on Irony Central, there's another possibility. The following would need to go onto the forum template - inside the head section: <link rel="shortcut icon" href="{url}" type="image/x-icon" /> Replacing {url} with the address of the icon that should be displayed there. The admins may be able to fiddle with the forum template, too. The proper term is 'favicon'. -------------------- "You're drinking liquor because you're thirsty? But favicon derives from Internet Explorer, where bookmarks are known as favorites - thus fav. icon. Because that's what it's for - distinguishing bookmarks. A more browser-politically correct term is shortcut icon. ( :P ) Jokes aside, it actually *does* make a difference. IE insists on using a default path, /favicon.ico, for its icons. The <link rel="shortcut icon" /> tag is not respected. The result is that my error logs get filled with 404'd requests for /favicon.ico. -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast.
