I just thought (and I literally mean *just*) "It's normal, people get engaged, hell even.. Well, Arctic could find someone", and now you tell us he's married? Damn. Congratulations to him. :\ And you, Alec, of course. [ Saturday, October 07, 2006 12:00: Message edited by: The Green Dragon ] -------------------- "I'm not crazy!" "Well, whatever. According to some old family wisdom my father passed along, the classic four things to be sure to agree on are religion, politics, money, and children. Agreement on them doesn't make for any great romantic glow or anything, but disagreement usually doesn't get worked out over the years, and once people get old enough to realize they won't have infinitely many chances to get what they want out of life, these issues become crises. So at least one of the four is down for Alec. Congratulations on your engagement; enjoy it, too. Being engaged is nice in that the whole world does seem to be congratulating you all the time for this wonderful special thing. Getting married is in one way a let-down, in that suddenly you're not so special. Otherwise worth it, though. -------------------- We're not doing cool. We're doing pretty. I think being married is hella better than being engaged. For one, you don't have all the stress of planning a wedding anymore. For two, everyone all of the sudden is out of your hair, so you can just enjoy being with your spouse and having peace and quiet. Posts: 2242 | Registered: Saturday, April 10 2004 07:00 |

So, ideally, a person should be both engaged and married. Right? -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

In the future, I'll claim to have seen this coming. Congratulations, you old wangdangler! The best of married life to you both, whenever the knot is tied (Planning to wait until after you graduate, or is this a six months before the wedding sort of thing?). I'd add an image relating to ferrets and weddings here, but as I can't seem to find a new one and detest repeating myself, I'll settle for just ferrets: DRINK FROM THE CUP OF MARRIED BLISS -------------------- Stughalf "Delusion arises from anger.
