As long as you're not working on non-human macrobiology, you've got a shot at a Nobel Prize in chemistry or physiology/medicine. Nobody cares about the dik-diks. Actually, that's strange, and it's even stranger that I never noticed. —Alorael, who can't figure out which game Thuryl got wrong or what he omitted. "Silent Protagonist" is a bit general. quote:Nobel's intention seems to have specifically been to reward progress which improved the human condition, hence the prize being awarded for medicine rather than biology. Your comment does give me an excuse to furnish you with another fun fact, though. Legend has it that there's no Nobel Prize in mathematics because Nobel's wife ran off with a mathematician. It's probably untrue, but it makes a good story. [ Friday, June 23, 2006 00:15: Message edited by: Thuryl ] -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Flavor of doughnut: Plain frosting, with apple filling. Spell circle in Nethergate: Craft was always too useful to be ignored, but Heartshock was my favourite spell... I'll plump for Craft. Nationality of jumping bean: Doesn't it depend on where it's grown? Animal to keep as a pet: A kitty. Called "Sparkles". Goal in life: I have no real goal. I have dreams and ambitions. I too, like Dikiyoba, would like to be a writer, although the publishing bit is less important for me. -------------------- And when you want to Live How do you start? Where do you go? Seems I am in the minority here, noticed a lot of cat fanciers and more power to you who can love something so unloveable (for me, they serve only to solve a rodent problem, which I currently don't have and generally solve through bait/traps). :) -------------------- "Dikiyoba ... is demon ... drives people mad and ... do all sorts of strange things."
