I'm sure it's only because you don't know him well enough yet, but TM is also Spidweb. It hardly bears mentioning when he appears in two places at once with different PDNs. -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

This has been mentioned before, but I guess it needs to be said. The board only updates the name in threads where the member posts with the new name - or edits one of the older posts. Posts: 353 | Registered: Monday, January 9 2006 08:00 |

It is odd how all of the UBB glitches can be explained once you realize it uses flat text files instead of a relational database. This is another one of them... -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast. You can't blame all bad programming on a single design decision. After all, databases and other software go directly to filesystem too. If creators of UBB wanted to make their own equivalent of a database system, they theoretically could have done as good a job as Oracle. :) [ Tuesday, March 21, 2006 15:07: Message edited by: Zeviz ] -------------------- Be careful with a word, as you would with a sword, For it too has the power to kill. Most programmmer unfortuneately feel that anything that runs is good enough to use. Elegance, reliability, etc. were done in by a generation of Microsoft programmers that produced that buggy piece of junk known as Windows. Bill Gates was notorious for writing flawed software, so he didn't care what his company did. Now with security being an issue, some problems are being fixed at the start instead of patched. We're stuck with this system until the entire program gets replaced. Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

That same thing happened to me too after I briefly changed my moniker to ashby4808 in responce to Ash's unfortunate banning. However, life goes on... -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

I also notice that the Blades of Exile Forum shows "Bunker" (aka Eddie) even though his name is now permanently "&." Dikiyoba. Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

They don't rhyme. At least, not how I say 'and'. -------------------- I'll put a Spring in your step. Posts: 2396 | Registered: Saturday, January 29 2005 08:00 |

We're also running a pretty old version of UBB. -------------------- "At times discretion should be thrown aside, and with the foolish we should play the fool." - Menander ==== Drakefyre's Demesne - Happy Happy Joy Joy Encyclopedia Ermariana - Trapped in the Closet ==== You can take my Mac when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the mouse!
