The demo is the only part of the game that is free, and this applies to all of SpiderWebs games. You can buy the Exile games by themselves, or in a bundle. For a list of how you can buy them, look here. If you buy all three Exile games you save a bit of money than if you buy the three seperate. Other than that, welcome to Spiderweb! Leave your sanity at the door, etc. EDIT: Fixed sentences. If you buy the bundle, that's the equivalent to getting one game and then getting the other two for $10. That makes it even more worth it. But no free games yet, save SubTerra. -------------------- -ben4808 Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |

This is one of those moderatorial decisions I can't quite follow. TM said the games were illegally available. They almost certainly are; 99% of software is. I don't believe he said where, so how was his post in violation? -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast. Well, downloading them illegally would be illegal. I would imagine that is why his post was deleted. -------------------- I'll put a Spring in your step. Posts: 2396 | Registered: Saturday, January 29 2005 08:00 |

Any post which may or may not have existed would have been posted by TM. The poster's intent must therefore be taken into consideration. For the record, I'm not the one who may or may not have deleted any post which TM may or may not have made. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Another thing I don't get about this, members number 1-3 are admins, (although they all use the account spidweb #1), member #5 doesn't exist as far as I could tell, members 6, 7 are mods. TM, the social parasite is #4.... -------------------- ??? ?????? ???? ????? Posts: 883 | Registered: Wednesday, October 19 2005 07:00 |

No, SpidWeb (member #1) is Jeff's account, and the other workers use it. #2 is Marianns test account. #3 is Schrodinger, a former mod who doesn't come around much, if at all. #4 is the mum-loving TM. Mystery Man, formerly member 5, had his account deleted early last year. Members 6 and 7 are Stareye (*i) and Drakey, the administrators. Just though I'd clear that up. Wow. I never thought I would be in this position. I take exception to people refering to TM as a "social parasite." Aside from it being a personal attack, it also maybe at odds with whatever persona TM is portraying on these boards. Just hypothetically of course, but Spidweb makes roleplaying games, and TM may be some really sweet person that is roleplaying (really, really well) and as such shouldn't have such attacks leveled against him. *this message sponsored by other martyrs* -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

TM is playing a part for the amusement of himself and some others who enjoy it. That doesn't make it a good thing. Simulated unpleasantness is still unpleasant. —Alorael, who downloaded the Exile games from an illegal website. The games themselves were unregistered and perfectly legal, of course, but the site was in big trouble. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

Besides which, TM is very helpful to the community. Not only does he make great BoA scenarios, he's always ready to lend a helping hand to other BoA designers. -------------------- "You're drinking liquor because you're thirsty? If there was a considered violation, considering the hippie upbringings that we raise these mods with, unless Stareye got to it, it was probably just moved. Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

You mean the message all of the people above are speaking about? No, it really, really was removed. ...And the message could only be considered a violation in a very broad sense. It was like mentioning that some people (somewhere in Siberia) might consider pirating Windows instead of paying for it. Edit: And while we're on the topic of whether TM is a 'social parasite' or a valuable member of the community, I definitely go for the latter. The place would be awfully boring without certain people who behave out of line and get banned every now and then. It's a jury-rigged, unorthodox account now. Don't look too hard at #5. —Alorael, who did not, in fact, download Exile from an illegal site. He's sure he could find a site with illegal materials and legal Exile if he looked, though. Unfortunately, he can't post the link. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

For the record, I was the one who deleted the post. Looking back on it, it was probably a bit hasty, considering that TM regularly posts things more worthy of deletion. :P Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |
