Yes, it's true, I am moving to Brownsville, Oregon (a little southwest of Albany) on the 30th. Apparently, after our little vacation over there, my dad thought that he could start making a living by fishing. So.

That will also mean that I will be gone for a few days around there until we get the computer set back up in our new house. Wish me luck!

Beware the bar at Depoe/Winchester. Some good boats have disappeared there. If he is serious, i recommend joining ifish.net, it is a great resource and the folks share just about any fishing related info they have.

Goodbye, we will read you when you get back.

I have never moved houses in my life, and I am thankful for it. I love my house.

No, it was just your own IQ dropping considerably.

Anyway, we'll see you when you get back then. Good luck with the moving!

Have a safe trip, Ben. Hope your dad's successful as a fisherman. My dad would probably love that job, but he doesn't want to move where the industry is profitable.

Between ben's homophobia and creationism, and your unending invective, Djur, you are about on par.

Maybe some of that West Coast liberalism will rub off on him. More than likely, however, he'll just seize on the chance to be homeschooled until his inevitable enrollment in the Bob Jones University.

My uncle is a crab/yabbie fisherman up in Queensland. I went out with him one day when I was up there. Never again, I had to be up at 2am. Urgh. It was rather enjoyable, though.

Wow, I haven't seen you around here in a while, Djur.

Anyway, I'm not going to be homeschooled and have never heard of Bob Jones University. I suppose I will, though. I wouldn't count on the liberalism at any rate. :P

You probably wouldn't like commie fishing up here then. We start fishing at dark and don't stop until the sun comes up. Way past your bedtime.

Well, its not really that it was 'too early' or anything, I'm just not used to it. I have done all nighters before, though. And it was rather a good days fishing — we got 350kg of crabs and yabbies.

EDIT: Yes, I am 1337.

Since I'm assuming that your hometown is not in fact the last holdout of the House Unamerican Activities Committee, what, in this context, is "commie fishing"?

Fishing, Marxist-Leninist style. Don't let the republicans catch you. ^_^

"Commie fishing" is the term used by recreational fishermen for the activities of the commercial fishermen. Commercial fishermen just tend to ignore the recreational fishermen, and everyone agrees to call the folks fishing from shore "bank maggots."

ps. Marx was a philosopher that pointed out the inequity between business owners and laborers in the 1800's. Other people formed that view into a revolution. Other people still hold that view, but they have stopped referring to Marx during their speeches.

Bank maggots? Down here, they are just called 'shoreys'.

Ah, it seems I have a lot of sea terminology to learn here. What do you call a guy who just has a boat for the purpose of bragging to others?

Hey everyd00d, I finally made it!

So I thought I'd bring you to date. We're in our new house, still have tons and tons of boxes to go through, and still don't have a boat, but that will come later.

We just got our new Internet connection to work. Because I'm in town now, it's more than twice as fast! 44Kbsp! YES!!!

Sorry. Anyway. :P
