Actually, he's said this to me as well. "Purposeful obfuscation" I think he calls it.

There are days when I try with all the sorry heap of mental ability available to me to decipher his meaning and get what he is talking about, just to see whether I agree or disagree.

When I think I have possibly gotten a clue, I look on the Lyceum or Spiderweb to see if there's some clue I might be correct - and usually, I find someone asking if TM meant *this* (and *this* is exactly what I thought about), and he replies with some variant of "Wrong, fool."

There are other days when I think "Not worth the damn bother." But it's disappointing, because there's nothing that sparks my curiosity as much as something I can't understand.

Heheh...

I usually become curious about something that I already understand, that way I get the satisfaction of understanding it many times over. It also makes curiousity less likely to be the death of me.

Simply because TM believes he is cryptically placing philosophical messages in his scenarios doesn't mean they exist. To him perhaps, but to others no.
