Post count makes it look like you are old and wise. Karma just makes you look like a goody-two-shoes.

But it is better to keep one's mouth closed and be thought a fool than open it and remove all doubt, or so Twain (roughly) said. Or maybe someone else. But it's famous, at any rate, and I'm sure it applies to posts too.

The 12,500 title has quite a funny story, actually. Khoth knows it too. It all began during our year-long trek across the Ukraine ...

Heck, at the rate Alo is going, in about 6 months you will need a new rank for either 15,000 or 20,000!

Well, it all began back in high school, with our crazy Ukrainian soccer coach, Gene Chyzowych. He's a renowned coach, who coached the US National Team for a while, and is also known for being completely incomprehensible due to his poor grasp of the English language. However, despite the appearance of senility, he knows a lot more than he lets on.

He has a habit of making fun of people when they mess up. When they kicked the ball way over the goal on an easy shot, he quite often would exclaim, "Mamma mia, potzaroni, pizzabella!" Especially when the player had an Italian background. He thought he was being witty, but the players just looked at him askance and laughed at his craziness.

So, anyway, that's the story of the crazy Ukrainian and his interpretation of Italian exclamations, of which the only words he knows are pepperoni, pizza, and mamma mia. There are a host of other crazy "Chyzowych-isms," all of which must be delivered in the piercing Ukrainian accent which he has made familiar (and ever so popular).

Even if you didn't know that, didn't the context give it away? How many people could explain Drakey's title?

—Alorael, who is not comforted by the thought of an incomprehensible Ukrano-Italian title.

Only the lucky member #7 could absorb the awful curse of member #13 and live. And before Drakefyre did it, it was by no means clear that the power of 7 would be sufficient to beat 13. After all, 13 is bigger. So it was a heroic act of courage to take on member #13, but unless someone did it, the boards would have died with only a dozen people involved. For that valiant deed which saved the boards from dying thus in their infancy, Drakefyre was rewarded with the administratorship.

At least try to read the topic, okay?

—Alorael, who noticed that he'd hit 9000 only after having hit something slightly over 9000. Starting a topic late is so unhip. Besides, he has to save up for the big 10k.
