This is my 2000th post on these forums. I'd like to thank the following people for helping me get this far: - oldbies, for sticking around this long and giving me people to converse with. Posting without an audience gets old fast. - newbies, for providing fresh perspectives and/or target practice. - the good people of India and the Middle East, for creating the Hindu-Arabic numerical system and thereby standardising base 10 arithmetic, thus rendering the number two thousand noteworthy and significant. If we'd settled on base 12 instead, I'd be waiting another one thousand four hundred and fifty-six posts for this topic. StD: The System is Down. I've been trying to find out more since Friday, but without success. Logo is nowhere to be found (maybe off to some hut in Sibiria by now, hoping we don't find him :P ).
