The about section on the Spiderweb Software web page noted that 36x36 images or less are desirable for graphics in their games. I started working on a pixel editor that I made specifically for another game that I was programming. Anyways, after adding and removing a bunch of features, I came up with 36x36, my graphics editor for DOS. It can save 8- and 24-bit uncompressed bitmaps (although it can't load the 24-bit bitmaps, unfortunately). Currently, there are four drawing layers, and each layer is 36x36 pixels. Also, the palette is fixed to the default VGA palette (unless you load some other 8-bit 36x36 bitmap that has a different palette). It's not horribly exciting, but it's fun to work on.
