The about section on the Spiderweb Software web page noted that 36x36 images or less are desirable for graphics in their games. I started working on a pixel editor that I made specifically for another game that I was programming. Anyways, after adding and removing a bunch of features, I came up with 36x36, my graphics editor for DOS. It can save 8- and 24-bit uncompressed bitmaps (although it can't load the 24-bit bitmaps, unfortunately).

Currently, there are four drawing layers, and each layer is 36x36 pixels. Also, the palette is fixed to the default VGA palette (unless you load some other 8-bit 36x36 bitmap that has a different palette).

It's not horribly exciting, but it's fun to work on. Just mess around with it; it might entertain you for a moment or two :P

You can check it out here:

Since it says it's a .zip file, i guess you need to use the "save target as" function, and if you have winzip, you'll be able to open the file.

As for the topic problem, i don't understand it either...

There are 400 words in the dictionary that begin with "self" and only 8 that begin with "fellow".

There is no problem...

Zell has made a graphics editor that saves natively in the format Spiderweb asks for graphics to be sent to them in...

It's basically an MS Paint that isn't by Micro$oft, and which... erm... that's it.

And he's kindly posted it for us on SpiderWeb.

Could you make the link working, please?!

It would be really interesting for me! :D

You know, why the Sliths are green - because of their scales.

Maybe you know why some slith eyes were once red - ´cause the demons, which led them were red.

But why are the eyes of the Slith Lord Followers red? Because they see the remains of their enemies always before the battle begins!

If you're using a PC, right click on the link and choose to save or download it.

If you're on a Mac, control-clicking has the same effect as right clicking, or you can option-click to download without the help of a menu.

I did the left click save as. It saved an html page of freeweb saying 'page not found' on my computer.

Freewebs has interesting policies on offsite links. Try linking to the program on a page of your own site, and then posting a link to that page.

Alternatively, upload it at http://stuff.ermarian.net/ . Instructions are in the readme file on that site.
