Fall starts, I believe, mid-September, and ends in mid-December, so GF2 could be out anywhere from a week from now to three months. Maybe October, sooner or later. Knowing Jeff's optimistic self-set deadlines, I'd say later. Can't be all that long now... I waited for Avernum 3 to come out for over half a year. -------------------- "And all should cry, Beware, Beware! His Flashing eyes, his Floating hair!" S. T. Its cool how he still programs his games on MACs (now stop capitalizing the word!) even though most of his customers (apparently) are windows users... Posts: 43 | Registered: Wednesday, October 16 2002 07:00 |

Ah, but his most "loyal followers", like Drakey, TM, Stareye and such, happen to use MAC. ..I'm gonna get smacked for this. -------------------- - WITH LOVE, THE OL' RELIABLE BOYLOVE, TO BE EXACT Posts: 761 | Registered: Thursday, June 19 2003 07:00 |

do you think it's more challenging to program on a MAC or on windows? Do you use C++ on MAC or is there something else? Posts: 71 | Registered: Friday, August 22 2003 07:00 |

*smacks all around* Macs are Jeff's programming machine of choice. Jeff is more familiar with Code Warrior and the Mac coding formats, so he starts there and then ports to Windows. And more than 1/3 of Jeff's customers are Mac users. -------------------- "At times discretion should be thrown aside, and with the foolish we should play the fool." - Menander ==== Drakefyre's Demesne - Vahnatai Did Do It desperance.net - We're Everywhere The Arena - God Will Sort The Dead ==== You can take my Mac when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the mouse! ahh... thanks for the insight.. porting the game from windows to macs or vice versa ain't easy job eh...code warrior, i assume it's a programming language for macs?? never heard of it for windows.. so does code warrior have a function that says "convert-all-my-codes-so-it-runs-on-windows" heh heh.. must be tough on jeff.. is he doing everthing by himself.. poor jeff..he deserves all the rest after this conversion project!!! It's not a programming language, it's a compiler for C. -------------------- I believe there are 15 747 724 136 275 002 577 105 653 961 181 555 468 044 717 914 527 116 709 366 231 425 076 185 631 031 296 protons in the universe, and the same number of electrons. -- Sir Arthur Eddington Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

drakefire: August 2003 Interview with Jeff Vogel by Indiegamer.com : "Our sales are 1/3 Mac, 2/3 Windows, more or less." And in response to Rinoa: Jeff can't take a rest we need BOA! Posts: 43 | Registered: Wednesday, October 16 2002 07:00 |

Isn't that what I said? And Jeff should hopefully release a bare-bones BoA editor a little while after Windows GF2 comes out.
