I've tried that and it doesn't seem to work. I go down the east stairs, go clockwise directly to the generator controls and I get "You don't have any luck. You only manage to get the panel to make a loud, irritated honking noise at you."

I'm stuck.

Trying to figure out the sequence (Control A, Control B, Golem generator panel) for this quest, any help would be appreciated.
