I wanted to do as much of the adventure without reading from the boards and walkthrus. So maybe i fouled up something. I did something to Rentor. she disapeared and said she would get me sometime. i cleared that whole area and the area leading to her. i didn't know what to do next so I wandered around completing odd quests hoping something would become evident. I finally read here on the board and the walkthru that i needed to find that rod of control down there. I have been back several times looking for it. i may have picked it up earlier and just didn't know what it was. was it a special item? or a regular item that I may have sold? help please. dumb question... i have 1.6 and downloaded 1.7. will i have to start the scenario over again in the new version?
