been a while since i played A3 ( currently playing A2 just passed A1) but the crytal of the vampire is in some sort of garden beind his trone if i recall well at least around the trone room i think there is some magical barrier in the ways so maybe you'll need the dispel spell ^^ ( or maybe the barrier are to protec his treasure) anyways hope it help

yeah same here i checked the annoted map first but seem like server is out of order and i searched all over on the net but nobody ever made a full walkthrough of all quest of avernum 1 only the main quest :( pls someone that damn chest is pissing me off^^

hell-o

only need help to get the last silver triangle to recover the stone i know the last one is in the chest where there was aranea but i just cant open it i passed the game a long while ago but i cant remmeber what i did cause it didn't gave me any prob ( as far as i remmember)

anyways could be nice if someone tell me how to open that damn chest
