Finally he go trapped in the solid stone wall (or so I imagine) and BoA was so upset it cried." I got this as well. It's no laughing matter, whenever my singleton tried go after Korbis, he just kept walking North, he then went on through the stone wall & the screen went blank. Blades of Avernum Froze. I have tried several times & it still doesn't work. Also, I recevied the message of Oakleaf asking for the artifacts, & then "Getting angry" before I had even got to the Sanctum & spoken with him.
