No, no, no. You have got what I am trying to say all wrong.

#1) My game is going to be free. NO payment.

#2) I am totally creating it from scratch - music, sounds, graphics, engine, and everything else except storyline. And I would like to use it because I feel that it's hard to come by such a good one as the Exile one.

#3)It's not an RPG!

See, all I want to do is make my own game based on the Exile plot, nothing more.

Hello everyone. I am a hobbyist game programmer/angry koopa and I would like to know if you are allowed to make Exile fan games. In the license agreement it's said that Exile is a fully copyrighted product or something, and that no one may steal distribute without permission.

But what I would like to know is if you can build your own game based on the Exile storyline.
