Actually OFF the planet. Well I probably am overestimating. And I will likely scale it down plenty. The problem still does occur though. Thanks for the tips on size. We'll see how big it ends up being. Posts: 21 | Registered: Saturday, March 20 2004 08:00 |

A ways north and a bit west of the fairy-things. Near the river I think (don't hold me to that, my memory sucks) Posts: 21 | Registered: Saturday, March 20 2004 08:00 |

Hmm... interesting. Actually, I've messed with it more and it only seems to be caused when you try to load FROM a map that size. As for the size... I'm not sure why I'm trying to do something that big. I doubt I'll ever finish. What started as a simple plot idea turned into a huge 3 act production. I do think I over estimated by 20 or so, but it seems to be a pain to make a map bigger, and I can always write a bigger story. Posts: 21 | Registered: Saturday, March 20 2004 08:00 |

I keep getting error messages when I try to import a different outdoor section. Error numbers, 302 and 307 to be exact. This only happens when I try to import a segment that I have edited or a segment that is next to an edited segment, so it SEEMS to work just fine if I want to import a completely blank section of outdoor land. I thought it might have to do with the fact that my map is 10X10 outdoor squares, but it does the same thing with smaller maps. Any ideas? TIA Posts: 21 | Registered: Saturday, March 20 2004 08:00 |

Start smashing crystals, and keep killing the key-bearer. I'm not quite sure what I did, but he did finally drop a key. Posts: 21 | Registered: Saturday, March 20 2004 08:00 |

Well on the one hand, we'd pair up fairly well. I can pick up scripting languages fairly quickly (This one too I'm sure. I just haven't tried yet.) I have an rough idea for a plot outline. And I can't draw for the life of me. :P On the other hand, like people keep saying, It's hard to coordinate and motivate. Especially the motivation part for me. It does sound like fun though. I dunno. I'm too tired to make good decisions. I've been up all night killing the undead. (fun quest btw) Posts: 21 | Registered: Saturday, March 20 2004 08:00 |

I wasn't complaining. I was just checking to see if it was a bug, and if it was, I was just gonna report it. :) I was tired of looking for that book. Of course I found it soon after. A quick town reset, and I was on my way. Correct me if I'm wrong though, but I coulda sworn that a message box popped up right after I killed it saying that I had grabbed the key. edit: And on closer inspection of the scripts, it does say that you grab the key. The script just doesn't give it to you. [ Saturday, March 20, 2004 17:27: Message edited by: macman0 ] Posts: 21 | Registered: Saturday, March 20 2004 08:00 |

It's late, and I've been playing a while but something seems wrong. In VotDT that library golem is supposed to give me a key for returning a book or something like that. Either way I got sick of looking for a that book so I killed the golem. Now I THINK it said I get a key (that after reading the walkthrough seems to go to the southern door with the big pad lock) but I don't have but that one silver key I got earlier, and I can't open those doors so I'm stuck. I may be wrong there seems to be trouble if you kill that return golem. Posts: 21 | Registered: Saturday, March 20 2004 08:00 |
