I went to college in North Carolina and live in New York City now. Race relations in New York are much worse. It's not even close in my experience. It's ignorant to think that racism is only, or primarily, a Southern issue. I went to college in North Carolina and live in New York City now. Race relations in New York are much worse. It's not even close in my experience. The level of racial hostility and general ethic Balkanization in New York is out of control.
