I am curious.I have already bought exile 3 and avernum3.I play them both a lot.
Geneforge is totally different.I have tried the demo and am at this moment downloading demo for geneforge2.is it going to be the same deal.two copies of same game?
I must admit I feel I wasted my money buying avernum when I already had exile.as such I am extremely reluctant to buy geneforge,especially as I am disabled and have a very limited pension.

I guess that question is now answered.
When in Danger or in doubt,run about,scream and shout. then uninstall and reinstall from registered source:)

it is correct.the procedure unregistered the game.But now I wonder...since I purchased a registered copy by cd am I not just as far ahead to reinstall the game?

My 9 yr old son has been playing this afternoon in avernum.He did something while I was out to town doing some banking and asked my help when I returned.I tried to use the character editor to do so only to get the message that it had been disabled and to come here to find out how to turn it back on.
o.k. here I am and I am asking...How do I turn the darn thing back on?

My wife was a leader of a Beaver colony(scouts Canada) and her scouting name was Rainbow.As her spouse I was know during frequent visits as mr.rainbow and at other colonies we were both simply cousin rainbow.(can be confusing with limited names available but fun;) ) and shortened as an online persona to cuzrainbow.Sides,I sorta "saw the light" in the 60s and 70s... ;)

I have something to say to Jeff about his games.But for some reason cannot email it to spidweb@spidweb.com
So I went to spiderweb to fiund out if there were forum boards.the following was the contents of my email to you.I guess it is as good an intro to me as it is an opportunity to speak to you without spending unknown sums on long distance:)

I have been a fan of R.P.G.ga,ing since 1980.I started first as a dungeon
master running some games for other D.M.s at masters level and moved on into
game breaking for a small rental outlet,writing guides and
walkthroughs.since then it has become a family passion for myself,my wife
and our 3 sons ages 6-17.
I personally like the exile and avernum series because they allow me to
design my own group of hardcore campaigners and equip and train them he way
I want them.This personalisation allows me much more freedom to express
myself throughout the game than the usual take what we give you and use it
the best you can. Limited controls suck badly.
In exile I have found a place where I could easily fit into the populace on
my own terms and make of the world a playplace I can enjoy.
Unfortunately after having registered the games and editors I have found out
that almost all of thge hidden secrets contained in the games were ones I
had already found.no new surprises for me.so I just had to get myself a
birthday gift of avernum 3.I have played the demo once and deleted it after
getting as far as the shareware demon allowed me to go.I am holding great
hopes for this one and looking forward to your next release.
Please keep up the excellent work.
