I do my best to pop my head up when it seems necessary.
Such as when I see a legit topic on Galactic Core
:sigh:
in any case, the little developments going on around here are certainly interesting
though responses arent quite as fast as they used to be

at least my post count is still super-low!

Edit: glad to see TW around these parts

What about that vampire and his buddies in the cave forest? I gave up after a couple tries (there couldn't have been much I would have gained). It must be suicide for a 1 pc party.

Even with the Brigand Archer buddy.
:cough:

I've gotten through most of the demo (nice and easy thanks to playing the original when it came out), and I came across another new feature.
Mines.
I accidently clicked through the event text when I first walked down a hall with them. As such, I have no idea how to disarm them. I figured that simply walking up to them will give me the option to disarm them.
However, that did not work.
Boom.
I decided to ignore them and see how far I could get simply by walking through or around them, but now it seems necessary to do something else.
I've tried combat walking my lockpicker into them. That didn't work.

Long story short, how do you disarm these mines?

MoO 3 came out for those who want to climb the learning curve best described as "Everest". I bought it right when it came out (about a month ago now) and have yet to come close to beating the game.

Is the last Terran Campaign also the last one in the demo? From the map of the sector I've tried to re-create in my head, it sounds almost exactly the same. I do remember the Peroc having colonized the upper left of the screen. Quite a fun mission as I remember, allowing me to spend hours upon hours tediously patrolling my little bottom left corner of the screen. My homeworld, having been easily destroyed time upon time again (save, load, save, load......), and any ships degraded to dead hulks of funny shaped metal, I was forced to hide in the Southern nebula (God bless that nebula). The nebula provided me safe cover to watch the ORiS and Peroc duke it out, and the bottom left corner of planets a safe haven from which I could lick my wounds (to fight another day!). Planet-busting became the regular duty of the day as my ships drew a diagonal red line of destroyed worlds from the top left to bottom right of the screen (Peroc homeworld included). The rest of the mission was a simple mop up chore.
Elasped time: 2-3 hours
Saved game: deleted
Lather, rinse, repeat
The campaign is a great time waster.
(not to be confused with this campaign is a waste of time......-er)
