Charlie brown? What the hell are you on about?

TGM: Your levels aren't in it yet. I compiled that in a bit of a rush.

You know, I've only just noticed something... we can't have avatars! Is this not a feature of 'infopop corporation' or has someone just disabled it?

Radiant nononononono.

My code (it is vb) is NOTHING like that...

The way it works is it takes all the folders in the "./Pieces" folder as categories, and all the image files in the ("./Pieces/" & CategoryName) folder as objects.

This is so that I can send out additional objects simply as zip files of pictures.

When it stores it into the array, it writes the whole of the path to it, including everything from the "c:/" up.

Having said that, I just worked out a way to fix the problem.

However this fix will make it non-compatible with old levels, to fix this load the level file in Notepad and delete the word "Pieces" and everything before it on each line.

Once you've done this it won't be compatible with the old version.

Ok, it has been fixed. Download the new exe-file and put this in place of your old "level editor.exe" file. Then just fix the levels as above, and run it!

Get the new exe-file from http://www.bobxp.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/leveleditor.exe

It won't make a difference to YOU, but to me - I had to actually MAKE that folder on my computer to view your levels. If a hundred people sent me levels all installed in different folders, I would have a hundred copies of the same program on my hard disk taking up space. See my point now?

Member #2286, who keeps changing his/her username, did I not make it clear where to install the level editor?

Apparantly you installed it to "C:\Ohjmatiedostot\Project1".

what the hell is that supposed to mean?????

In future, don't do that.

I might get around to fixing this sometime.

YES! The exit is a set of steps to take you UP to the next level, literally.

Erm, what do you mean, terrain? And btw, the exit is meant to be a set of steps.

Yes. They came with a tutorial, since I'm much better at adapting old games than creating new ones from scratch.

Rules moved to top of page.
[/edit]

iDavid: Sadly, I'm only making it for Windows. But it should run on an emulator or something... it was developed in a free program (not the level editor, just the game itself) and contains no hardware/software-specific code.

OK, the topic is now "moved" to my forums at http://pub62.ezboard.com/fbobxpforums7639frm7.showMessage?topicID=2.topic.

This is for three reasons:
1) I'm able to delete stupid pointless posts instead of waiting for a mod (who usually wont delete them anyway).
2) My site will get more hits
3) I prefer ezboard to these forums (yes, ezboard sux, and these forums suck more. Sorry for all you people who actually like the forums). I'm considering getting a phpBB forum instead. They're much better.

May i request that if a mod sees this post, please lock it.
