Chrome Suggestion: Custom Portraits in General

I've just started visiting the Spiderweb universe, so I'm not yet competent to offer suggestions to make substantive improvements to the games. But there is one suggestion I can make for a cosmetic improvement.

One of the (chrome) things I liked most about the Baldur's Gate/Icewind Dale games was the ability for users to have their own custom character portraits. With literally hundreds of pictures alteady formatted and ready for d/l in various places around the 'Net, one could really portray their party as they wanted them to look. It added surprisingly to the immersive quality of the experience.

So the question is, how hard would it be to implement such a system in the next Arcanum (#6, I suppose) or the other games? Ideally, one that would make it possible to use the portraits I (and many others, no doubt) have already collected? Obviously, some modifications to the code would have to be made, but would it be a cost-effective way for the Devs to spend programming time? Opinions?
