two things: 1) Yo forgot to mention which game it is (I assume its BoA) 2) This maybe the wrong forum. anyway, use the opneing stoen next to the glowing (green) portcullises. Hopefully it's BoE, because in BoA, you can't use special items. In BoE, if you follow the line of numbers just below your inventory that allows you to toggle between your first, second, third, etc., characters, you will find a button that says "Spec," which you can press on to see your special items.
