Smoky crystals can be bought from Karma in Ogacihc (outdoors x74, y6). IIRC, on the margoyle cave level (above the doomer level) to the NW, there is a route to a room with various gems in chests including smoky crystals. Posts: 49 | Registered: Sunday, February 3 2002 08:00 |

Ok, I killed the Margoyles, now I'm on the Slith Castle and I can't figure out the Slith Dance. I've read every Slith Dance topic here and at the Lyceum but can't figure it out. They're angles from the x-axis (expressed in Cartesian form, so anticlockwise is positive). So 90 is north, 60 is north by northeast, 45 is northeast, 30 is east by northeast and 0 is east. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Ok, this one really has me stuck. I'm in Yendys, and I have the trap prepared and I have found 8 pieces of straw. I've tried covering it with all 8 pieces, but I still get killed (Even though I know I could kick his ass with my Invulernable spell and my 2 Baleful Fasces. It's been a while, but I think you're meant to put the straw on the 8 spaces around the ballista, not actually on top of it. This works: Collect the eight straw, rope, sheet from around town. Place eight straw all around the bow. Place the rope on the bow, and the sheet on the rope. Move a few spaces away from the bow to activate nightfall. When Gorlow has reached the straw, i.e. Gorlow is on green space just before a straw, then in Special Items, use 'Throw Sheet', then immediately right click the bow.
