What gloves are better for a servile melee combat character (Primarily played as a singleton): The Gloves of the Savagery or the OrnkSkin Gauntlets?

I am leaning towards the Ornkskin for the extra HP.

Primarily played as a singleton.

They're both very good. For a melee servile, though, the Gloves of Savagery probably gives you better total value in terms of skill points you'd have to spend to get the same stat bonuses.

The Gloves of Savagery are superior. They give more bang for the buck, and give a strength bonus to creations.

Except that strength bonuses to creations from items are worthless because of a bug in the game engine.

I remember reading something like that a while back. From memory, the damage is included, but not the bonus to hit.
