I just went through a bunch of mines and found a pair of Puresteel Boots.... anyone have any idea what these are for (besides my feet)??? :D

They have the highest defensive rating of any non-artifact boots, and there's nothing else special about them. They're actually not all that impressive; the Captain's Boots, Stability Boots and Quicksilver Sandals are all probably better choices overall.

There are also Puresteel Gauntlets, which are even less impressive. See if you can find them!

They are worth some money, but almost any of the other boots in this chapter are better.
