You would think I had never played a Spiderweb game before, by the way I have become hung up on this quest... I honestly can not find the papers, having killed everything in the fens. Could someone point me in the right direction? -------------------- Plaudite, amici, comedia finita est. Posts: 344 | Registered: Friday, February 25 2005 08:00 |

It's also important to check after he dies and not before. You can't get the papers before you've dealt with him. -S- -------------------- A4 Items • A4 Singleton • G4 Items • G4 Forging • G4 Infiltrator • NR Items • The Lonely Celt Posts: 2009 | Registered: Monday, September 12 2005 07:00 |

Thankyou infitinely. I had cleared his quarters before facing him, and been kept away by the shock. After that, I guess I just had it in my head that I had checked everything in that area. One more stupid question, having already made a fool of myself. How exactly are "chapters" defined? -------------------- Plaudite, amici, comedia finita est. A "chapter" is a chunk of the game (roughly 1/5 of the whole map area) which you cannot move beyond to a new area until you've completed particular tasks. The first chapter is the Forsaken Lands, in which you are stuck, until you make it past the Cairn Gates into Ilya Province. -S- -------------------- A4 Items • A4 Singleton • G4 Items • G4 Forging • G4 Infiltrator • NR Items • The Lonely Celt Posts: 2009 | Registered: Monday, September 12 2005 07:00 |

The quests that need to be resolved, usually by reporting to someone that it's done are: 1) Escort/Betray Caravan 2) Repair/Kill Moseh 3) Kill/Defeat Monarch 4) Fulfill Drakon requirements in Quessa-Uss with a duel 5) Last battle in Inner Shaping Hall before using control panel Posts: 4643 | Registered: Friday, February 10 2006 08:00 |

I checked all three cabinets in Monarch's bedchamber after killing him but I did not find the papers. Could you be more specific about their location? -------------------- - Tyrol is a province in Austria. And Magda is from Poland - Posts: 3 | Registered: Thursday, November 23 2006 08:00 |

There's a chamber directly south of Monarch's bedchamber which you access through his throne room. The papers are in the cabinet in that chamber. And a note: if you haven't yet completed Master Jared's quest for the missing items in the wrecked lab, make sure you do that before you tell Greta you've beaten Monarch. I've just finished that part of the game and got zinged. :( -------------------- There are two kinds of game players...those who are newbies, and those who were.
