In the Tower Colony you get access to a spellbook in return for killing a demon trapped on the upper level. The book is upstairs in the room where you get the quest (need arcane lore total in the party of 5). There is another spellbook behind a barrier in Harston in the lower level. Ok, i finally killed the demon. Got the key from the mage, went upstairs, and the book is for Fireblast, not Dispel Barrier. On top of that, there is a book behind a barrier located in the northwest corner of the second floor. A piercing crystal is too weak to get rid of it. Now what?
