Not as far as I know. Is it causing some kind of problem for you? You can always just ignore the autosave slots. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

Well, not a serious problem, it's just that i'm using a quite old pc (Win 98, 750 MHz, 120 MB RAM, etc.) and it's rather annoying when it stops for five or so seconds every now and then right in the middle of play. -------------------- I don't care what you say, I'm punk and Hardcore all the way! I got a 19 GB Windows XP and it stops for me too, everytime I think there's another program running behind it, but there's not any. Although Auto-save saved me some times. :D -------------------- If there was only one last shaper alive on Sucia Island... ~Formerly known as Genexile~ Posts: 10 | Registered: Wednesday, August 16 2006 07:00 |

Be sure to download the patch, as this does take care of some of the problematic processor demands. That may help minimize the stress on your computer. -------------------- A few cats short of a kitten pot pie... Radioactive cats have 18 half-lives. Patch - is it enough to have the version 1.0.1, which seems to be the newest one, or do I still need a patch? quote:Yeah, I know it is a lifesaver - I just like to live dangerously. :) -------------------- I don't care what you say, I'm punk and Hardcore all the way! quote:change the name of the folder [installation location]\Avernum 4\Data\Save19 to something besides "Save19".you will get a minor error message when autosaves would otherwise occur. Posts: 3 | Registered: Tuesday, July 18 2006 07:00 |
