I am trying to get the research notes in the Tower Colony, I have find the forth one but it is in a room that has a gate blocking it, How do I open the gate, of is there a move mountain spell I can use on the wall cause they have cracks in them.

The gate can't be opened or bypassed, so you can't get those research notes. You'll find enough elsewhere in the tower.

Not all of them are on the upper level and there are more than are needed for the quest.
