I recently cleared out the Basalt Fortress, and was looking forward to finding there the spells divine restoration and divine host, which should be there, according to the hint book. Unfortunately, I haven't found them, although I did find, on the lower level, an altar. When I click on it, I get a message saying that the altar is trying to transmit some sort of energy or message, but I can't fathom it, and get a headache instead. I presume that the altar is the source of the spells. Does anyone know how I can access them? My party has a combined arcane lore of 22, which is pretty high, I believe. Hm... sounds like you haven't cleaned out the dungeon yet. Once you've done that, you can grab a key and unlock some of those rooms on the top floor, which hold the spellbooks. -------------------- Thuryl: "Runescape: for people who are too stupid to save their games." Thanks, Ephesos. Apparently I had a temporary lapse of my Vahnatai lore, as I neglected to "use" the crystals that teach the spells. I suppose that altar on the lower level is a mystery... -------------------- Necromancers aren't all that bad. It's just that a few bad eggs have given the profession a bad name. I've checked the scripts. The altar's just an altar; it doesn't ever do anything useful for you. [ Monday, January 30, 2006 14:52: Message edited by: Thuryl ] -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |
