It's me again, sorry

It's said that Crain is at the south of Mertis but I don't find him :( I have gone until the Tower of Magi but no Crain...

Actually, it's said that crain is between Mertis and Almera (sp?), and he is indeed inbetween there.
if you need a more exakt location; Just outside the west wall of Fort Samuel.
