This isn't truly technical, but this seems to be the best board to post this. I registered my Shareware Exile 3 a while back, but our computer got fried some time later. It was repaired, but we lost the game. I don't recall if it came as a disk, but if so, it's been lost. We still have the Hint Booklet. Is there any way we could get a new copy of the game without having to pay a second time? -------------------- Dragons rule! Posts: 20 | Registered: Friday, June 17 2005 07:00 |

Email spidweb@spiderwebsoftware.com with the name and address you originally registered with and they'll give you a new code. They're usually pretty good about this sort of thing. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

How long does it usually take? I know that they're extremely busy, so I don't blame them, but I want to know how long it will take. -------------------- Dragons rule! Posts: 20 | Registered: Friday, June 17 2005 07:00 |

It can take as long as a day or two, and their e-mail is notoriously unreliable, so if you haven't gotten a response within 24 hours, you should probably e-mail again. But usually it is a few hours, as Micael said. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. Well, they haven't replied in 2 DAYS! I wonder if they're e-mailing to my old address... EDIT: When I was writing this, the 4th reply wasn't there. Sorry! I've found that for whatever reason Spiderweb only gets a little less than half of the e-mails that I send them. That is, they don't even see the others — they get blocked or filtered or something. So it may not be their fault. Just e-mail again. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. I did, but I've seen that page already. Should I be going somewhere? Does it have anything to do with my topic? Or is it just a joke I didn't get? -------------------- Dragons rule! Posts: 20 | Registered: Friday, June 17 2005 07:00 |
