Uhh, as some of you might know already, I haven't tried GF. Last time it all went fine, until I actually tried PLAYING the game. Uhh, computar crashed. Every time. Now, I'm trying again (downloading, currently, slowly..), and would WUW to know what caused it. I checked my system, all is fine, except, well, my RAM is kinda low (old computar, baf). Only a few digits more than the required one. Could this be it? Well, Windows or Mac, and any messages when crashing? Or just *poof click* black screen and so on? This could be because of bad windows version, evil directx, display drivers... -------------------- Bending, but not in the way you might imagine. Uh, I got it to work myself since everybody ignored this topic. Now I'll just have to scrape up the money to register. :( -------------------- The Great Mister kommari@gmail.com Posts: 761 | Registered: Thursday, June 19 2003 07:00 |

Uh, the game just started crashing as I try to travel to.. uh, Dry Wastes (the place N of Rogue Woods near Vakkiri). The error is about Kernel something. How to fix this? -------------------- The Great Mister kommari@gmail.com Posts: 761 | Registered: Thursday, June 19 2003 07:00 |

TGM, I'm not sure. Though if your computer is at the minimum end of required settings, you might try transfering everything you do not need immediately to tapes or CD-Roms. Create as much saving space as you are able to. What are your computer settings? Would updating drivers or DirectX help? -------------------- Polaris Rache's A3 Site reformatted 2/3 done Rache's A3 Site, original version Posts: 1828 | Registered: Saturday, January 11 2003 08:00 |

That's because the Dry Wastes are part of the registered version. -------------------- "At times discretion should be thrown aside, and with the foolish we should play the fool." - Menander ==== Drakefyre's Demesne - Happy Happy Joy Joy Encyclopedia Ermariana - Trapped in the Closet ==== You can take my Mac when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the mouse! But isn't it supposed to be a question mark then, instead of town picture? -------------------- The Great Mister kommari@gmail.com Posts: 761 | Registered: Thursday, June 19 2003 07:00 |

Okay, I redownloaded, and that seems to have fixed it. Now I just have to ask for a new key as Jeff e-mails me. If he e-mails me. :) -------------------- The Great Mister kommari@gmail.com Posts: 761 | Registered: Thursday, June 19 2003 07:00 |
