Has anyone ever edited the game to add new quest and new items and stuff like that?

I think there is a downloadable sign that replaces a script file, that does character editiong, and maybe something for items, but I have no idea how to work them. They should be seen in the Geneforge 3 main forum. I don't think there is any way to make new quests, but I would love to see a Geneforge 3 character/scenaro editor! (Like the Exile editors)

if you want to use semantics (word play), you can use this justification for just about any word.

(and a noun, an adjective, an adverb, etc.)
