Ok,im playing as a shaper and i never improved my dex (2). Ok, im using an empathy blade (-1) and a sharing belt (-2). So, technically, my dex should be -1. However, when i look at my character, i have a dex of 0 (Man, im a klutz, how do i hold my weapon???). Anyway, i was just wodering if there was any penalty for (Supposed to) having a dex of -1.

I would assume that it would be seen as zero.
