Its weird I can make some of the recipes (wands of death/jeweled wands/artifacts) but I can't make any of the rods or the wand of inferno, is it just a ver.1.0 bug or something?

I'm having the exact same problem.

The recipe I'm using: Demon's Bile, Stick, Gemstone, Drakon Scale

The one that didn't work for me was rod of succor: stick, gemstone, glaahk eye, healing spores (recipe per Schrodinger). I put it down to low quality mass-produced ingredients and thought no more of it. I can't really think of this as a bug.

Hm- I may have gotten the recipe wrong. I'm not sure where in GF3 I found that info.

I've searched these boards and they all have the same recipe. Just to be certain- you are using a Drakon scale and not a drayk scale, correct? There's a big difference.

Of course I'm using a drakon scale. I'm not an idiot.

The fact that two people are having trouble with the same recipe is an indication that it is wrong.

You wouldn't have to be an idiot to make that mistake. The items are only a small shade different in appearance and the names are very similar as well.

I didn't mean to imply that you're an idiot, but as Slarty said, they're easily confused.

Perhaps try using a drayk scale instead? Maybe I messed up there, and you're actually supposed to use the more common drayk scale. I rarely made wands in GF3, so I didn't check any of those recipes.

I know that you weren't calling me an idiot.
However, you would have to be pretty stupid to confuse the two.
I'll try a drayk scale when I get the chance.
