I have completed the slime plague quest, and have been told to go to Solberg and X for nifty gifts, ihave talked Solberg, but am unable to find X anywhere in the Tower of Magi. what have i missed?

Start in the southeast corner of the Tower of Magi in the corridor running along the east edge and try walking through walls on the corridor's west side. When you find the hidden library you should find X muttering to himself.

X won't give you anything yet, however; he only rewards you for giants and golems. Solberg gives the magical rewards for slimes and roaches.
