I'm stymied in the tower. I have the crystal key, but still can't climb the stairs to dispatch the demon Adze-Haakai. I'd appreciate some help.

Once you get the key from Solberg you should be able to get past that obstacle and enter the darken maze to get to the demon. Check special items to be sure that you have the key and also that you did the dialog option to ask for the key from Solberg.

Thanks for your note on the key. I got the key from Solberg, talked to him, even queried
his cat, but didn't get any help. Silver's
excellent map says crystal key "light turns off" to work, but no clue on what that means. As it is, I can't climb the stairs and don't know what I need. I hope it's not a technical glitch. Probably just something I missed. Thanks again for your help.
