Tower of the Magi I found the lab notes that Carrie wanted in the monster room (I had to kill them to find the notes), and when I went back to the room in which Carrie teaches (the one with the pentagram) she wasn't there. I've been wandering around the Tower of Magi looking for her, but no luck. Is there another place she could be 'hiding'? -------------------- Poster: 'I love your demos, but I have Windows, what do I do?' Answer: 'Get a Mac?' Well, if you left the door to that room open, she could be anywhere in the Tower. Maybe she's just been running so that she's never where you are. -------------------- Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. I hate undead. I really, really, really, really hate undead. If you leave the Tower and come back, the characters will probably reset. -------------------- A C, an E-flat, and a G walk into the Tower of the Magi. Ambrin walks up to them and says, "Hey! It's the Triad!" Kelner snorts and says, "Pretty minor Triad if you ask me." Posts: 242 | Registered: Thursday, June 16 2005 07:00 |

I wasn't aware that the doors should be closed once you leave a room after talking to a person. That sounds kinda buggy. I gave up looking for her and started the game over. If it happens again I'll just either not bother with the quest or try to return to the Tower at a later date. -------------------- Poster: 'I love your demos, but I have Windows, what do I do?' Whoah... you started over?! That's a bit extreme... she probably would've been back in the same room if you'd followed Maroonmark's advice. And it's not a bug, it's just the fact that characters tend to leave the room if you leave the door open, and only then. For some reason, they can't work doorknobs unless they're chasing after you to kill you. -------------------- Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. I hate undead. Yes, I started over because I couldn'd find her, even after closing the door. I guess once she 'escaped' she wasn't interested in returning. I'll just start closing doors in the new game. -------------------- Poster: 'I love your demos, but I have Windows, what do I do?' Answer: 'Get a Mac?' Closing the door doesn't help, because once she's wandering around, she's not all that likely to randomly return, and closing the door makes it that much less likely. Leaving the Tower and returning causes all doors to close and all wandering people to return to their original locations. —Alorael, who would guess that Carrie was probably locatable with enough work, too. Start in the room she started in and start looking around and you'll probably find her eventually. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |
