If I'm thinking of the right creature, the spinecores are the ones that hurt you but the buds just sit around and recharge the main spinecore. So if you can't get rid of the spinecore in one hit, it'll recharge itself...so you might want to go after the buds first to lower its defenses. -------------------- Austrian Alex - Reality Corp. Yes there are usually four small "buds" around a central pinecore. The buds restore health to the center plant when it's health gets low. Actually, I think the spinecores can absorb other spinecores buds if they have used all theirs up. The spinecore owning the other ones might have to be dead though. -------------------- "Damn Scots.
