I am totally stuck with these mirrors in the Lost City dungeon. I'm trying to push them past the balls into the paths of the beams, but they just wont go...am I trying to put them in the wrong place? If not, how do I get them in the way of the beams?

You can only push the mirrors once the Perfect Spirit has started draining you and you've visited the machine that's keeping it trapped (you have to see the machine after the spirit starts draining you).

I made this mistake: When you go to see the machine, you don't just have to enter the room. You have to walk right up to the machine until some text pops up about it. Then you can go check out the mirrors.

Uh, you don't have to restart. If you visited the machine or mirrors before and didn't get a message that popped up, just revisit them. Unless you've saved yourself into a situation where the Perfect Spirit has drained you nearly to death or something and you can't possibly do everything in time, there's no reason to start over.

Liberal uses of the character editor can work wonders when you're in near-death situtions...

As long as the topic is at hand, where exactly are those mirrors. I'm unnin around avoiding the Perfect Spirit, trying to find them so I'll have them after it starts draining my health. I've run all over the dungeon, but I have yet to find them.

You cannot use the mirrors until the HP drain begins.

When you do need them, though, they're in the west and the southwest; both are more or less due south of the machine that's keeping the Perfect Spirit trapped.

What do you mean by "not going in the path of the beam"? Could you be a little more specific?

Are you trying to deflect the beams from the two projectors just to the north of the machine? You can't do that. You have to use the beam from the projector some distance to the south of the machine, near where you found one of the mirrors.
