I just rolled out from under a rock and discovered the game Blades of Avernum. I am sooo stuck on the first game. Will someone please help? I seem to have done most of the side 'chores". I am sitting on the runed stone, the crystal of power, the instruction scrolls, and the silver key. I have found and given the second black stone to the priestess, the kids are feeling better because of the magic health wand... There is a non-magically locked door I cannot open in the basement of the magic school (science building .. he he). I have pow-wowed with the space aliens, shaked hands with a happy spider and gotten one item from their king. I am wandering in circles now. I am just stuck.
