Tentacled statue in Wurm Pit

What do i do with the tentecaled satue in the wurm pit?

In case you dont know the wurm pit is near to Morogs castle, and the statue is surrounded by totems. The satatue is easy enough to take (using the ritual of santification) but what do i do with it after that?

Hey, I got same prob, wanted to post myself but you bested me.
By the way only Ritual of Sanctification doesnt help, you should take it out from south-eastern hidden exit.

Well, you are supposed to be able to sell the statue to the mage at Fort Cavalier(the final town) for 500 gold. I personally haven't bothered to take the statue to her, but that's what you can do with it. Hope this helps.
