I know there is a passage by the east (with far sight), but I can't open it... -------------------- "Il est interdit de se battre sur le Champ du Massacre; dit-il avant de marquer une pause, le temps de reflechir a la logique de ses propos." There is a book where you can read the text from the tombstones in the correct order. If you read the tombstones in the same order, the wall will open. -------------------- Slartucker: * facepalm facepalm facepalm * Dikiyoba: Are you unconscious yet? I can't find this silly book. Which general area of the cave is it in? -------------------- "'I saw the duckling hatch and disappear. Sadly I ask who may have taken it.'" Posts: 67 | Registered: Monday, June 28 2004 07:00 |

After you find the demon (that appears from the corpse) you walk through the passages untill a few purple spirits appear. Near here is a room, and in that room is the oath book. Just mark which order the sentances appear. Then you read the tombs in order. EDIT 3 (w00t 3 edits!!): I really cant express myself clearly so here is a map. The corridor to the north is where you enter. Read the tombs in numerical order. This is a picture of the tombs. Hope its clearer. Heres the map....its a bit crappy.... EDIT 4 (my god im sad): added a screenshot for extra clarity. Still at websit above. Thanks! I managed to find the stupid tome and get the puzzle done before edit 3 there. It was really frustrating though, since my short term memory is shot and I hate writing stuff down. -------------------- "'I saw the duckling hatch and disappear. Sadly I ask who may have taken it.'" This was a STUPID puzzle, just for the record. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. ...I think this puzzle was difficult but not so stupid... The idea was not so bad, but perhaps it can be used in a better way. Like make it more explicit, evident. -------------------- "Il est interdit de se battre sur le Champ du Massacre; dit-il avant de marquer une pause, le temps de reflechir a la logique de ses propos." Perhaps mis-spoke a tad. This puzzle was poorly done, inasmuch as it didn't even seem like a puzzle until I opened the game's scripts. I had read the book already, and I recognized the reference, but I didn't have any concept that there was a puzzle at work until I was told so by Eldiran. I should have spoke up more vehemently during beta testing. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens.
