Oh, about editors:
Emacs or anything that you can trick into thinking that you're writing C code (or even Java) should be able to parse BoA script well enough to match parentheses and such.

Drakey, have you ever had the line number be more than one line off from the actual source of the problem? I've never seen that, so I'm interested to know under what circumstances that could occur, so that I can watch for that in my own code.

I believe that if you do something seriously wrong in a subtle way, it can give you a line number corresponding to the start or end of the state, or even at the start or end of the entire script.
