Character Editing Question

When you first set up your party, you can choose classes. Now while this has little effect on the gameplay, it does affect your rank shown on the "Enter Scenario" screen. I was just wondering, is there anyway to change this after you choose?

Your rank will change as you level up and decide which skills to raise. But no, you can't change it directly.
