Hi guys! Undead Valley has been put on Spiderweb's scenarios page. Also, while they were doing that, they ported the graphics and stuff, so UV is now officially released for macs. You can download it either, Spiderweb's Site: http://www.avernum.com/blades/scen_stuff/untried.html My Site: http://hometown.aol.co.uk/micael%20456/BoA%20Undead%20Valley%20Site/uv.html Ofcourse, as you can see it's still in the Untried and Untested section. I know that at least two of you have finished, so please review it, and get it out of there! Thanks! - Archmagi Micael P.S. :( Well, it was not the PC-version then ... Could you please explain why this doesn't work for me: quote:;_; Neither the Slith Avatar nor Rolar-Tel give me their awards. That scenario drives me nuts. -------------------- Slartucker: * facepalm facepalm facepalm * Dikiyoba: Are you unconscious yet? Posts: 1420 | Registered: Wednesday, October 2 2002 07:00 |

Are those from the same dialogue script? If so, since the nodes have the same number, the first one will be ignored. And are those complete? They're both missing a "break" at the end. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. Smoo: Get ready to face the walls! Thank you Thuryl. I knew something must be wrong. The above is a copy of Micael's latest version. :( Undead Valley seems to be still unfinished. Please fix it, Micael; also the script with Rolar-Tel. -------------------- Slartucker: * facepalm facepalm facepalm * Dikiyoba: Are you unconscious yet? Much as I enjoy being credited for things I didn't do, I think the person you want to be thanking is Kelandon. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

quote:I hate to break it to you, Spy.there, but that error was fixed in Undead Valley Version 1.0.1 (the one currently avaliable from my site). There is nothing wrong with Rolar-Tel's script, he gives me the reward fine. And the fix was made for both WIN and MAC. If you downloaded the Scenario from Spiderweb you may have missed it. I'm not sending them the bug fix till I've got a few more bugs to fix. Here's the URL to the corrected file (if you haven't already got it in your scenario): http://hometown.aol.co.uk/Micael%20456/UndeadValleyrelease/t1smallcavedlg.txt Also, my Website is here: http://hometown.aol.co.uk/micael%20456/BoA%20Undead%20Valley%20Site/uv.html So if it doesn't work, you must still have an older version than currently avaliable. - Archmagi Micael [ Saturday, May 28, 2005 23:51: Message edited by: Archmagi Micael ] -------------------- "You dare Trifle with Avernum?" ~ Erika the Archmage -------------------- My Scenarios: Undead Valley : A small Undead problem, what could possibly go wrong? -------------------- Richard Black - PROOF of his existance (the Infernal one's website). -------------------- MY FORUM! :o oops, sorry, Kel (and Thuryl). See, UV had apparently already a confusing influence on me. Micael, I tried the recent version on your site: no award. I did copy your corrected file into the recent version: no award from the slith. But at least she's selling spells again. Splendid, a small progress! -------------------- Slartucker: * facepalm facepalm facepalm * Dikiyoba: Are you unconscious yet? Posts: 1420 | Registered: Wednesday, October 2 2002 07:00 |

Eh, Found the error. Didn't need to wait til tomorrow after all. I (being the idiot I am) put the wrong txt files in the .zip stuff, and uploaded the wrong ones also. I had fixed the error, just then forgot which one was the fixed .txt file and which one wasn't. Anyway: She now gives you rewards! And so does Rolar-Tel You can download Undead Valley by pressing on the link in my signiture. Or you can download the text files here: http://hometown.aol.co.uk/Micael%20456/UndeadValleyrelease/t1smallcavedlg.txt and http://hometown.aol.co.uk/Micael%20456/UndeadValleyrelease/t13rolardlg.txt Sorry about that mix-up spy.there. I had fixed your error, but put the bugged script into the downlaod file rather than the fixed script. Here is the fixed script (which works!). I double tested it and triple checked it. It worked 3 out of 3. Enjoy your reward! (it's pretty lame) EDIT: This t1smallcavedlg.txt file also fixes certain problems with Alfonso Del Carmel's dialogue, especially the part when he was meant to tell you about the valley, but it didn't work. It works now. EDIT 2: Please note though, that any Undead Valley downloaded from the Spiderweb site will contain these bugs. If you have downloaded your files from the Spiderweb site, please download the above txt files to fix your version of the Scenario. - Archmagi Micael [ Sunday, May 29, 2005 13:58: Message edited by: Archmagi Micael ] -------------------- "You dare Trifle with Avernum?" ~ Erika the Archmage -------------------- My Scenarios: Undead Valley : A small Undead problem, what could possibly go wrong? -------------------- Richard Black - PROOF of his existance (the Infernal one's website). -------------------- MY FORUM!
