I just talked to Micael and he said that even though he's still working on UV, it's okay with him if we consider the latest beta version to be a release v1.0, because he may or may not ever have the time to make a final version, and if he does, he'll just send that out as an update.

So in other words, UV is released. It's online at Imban's Desperance BoA stuff.

It was leaked some time ago, but now it's officially released. This isn't a huge deal, but it means that a number of lists get to be updated to include it.

I suppose it's still the same version I had already - with lots of bugs and errors ...
- I stuck in a wall (around first tower) and had to reload.
- Picking up items does not work properly sometimes (items window is invisible).
- When entering the first tower, I am "teleported" somewhere inside the tower.
- Getting an error message about missing graphics every time I start the scenario.
:( This version is not compatible with Mac, or should it be?

Testing Version 8.0 it says...and it's really gone under so many revisions...now I really want to see what the original incarnation was. Seriously, was it just a stick in the ground that said "Boo" on it?

No, spy.there. It's not compatible with Mac, but you can build the necessary .cmg file yourself.

EDIT: Having played the original testing version, I can tell you that it was much like the current one, only a lot more barren.

EDIT 2: I'm not adding UV to my BoA lists until it's actually released... even though it sort of is actually released... yeah.
