Which wands don't work in which combat? I seem to remember that some wands required like 50 SP adn some enemies were immune to certain effects when they were in certain incarnations. -------------------- "I am in a very peculiar business. All of them except Leave Scenario. If I try to use another wand and then Leave Scenario, it doesn't work . -------------------- Trouser Snake. Mustakrakish. Infiltrators? No. Agents? YES!! Posts: 79 | Registered: Monday, February 21 2005 08:00 |

Err. Are you using the latest version of BoA? It sounds suspiciously like the scripts are using calls your version doesn't support. Download the latest version off SW's site. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

How the heck do you do damage to Unumstoeslich? If he is invulnerable, then there seems no point. Can't trick him into walking in front of a laser like Zauberer. And the wands don't seem to have any effect on him. Help! Montebanc Posts: 2 | Registered: Saturday, May 8 2004 07:00 |

The "wands" are the way to beat him. Use Naturshand if you have it. If not, kill some mages and check out the items they drop -- some can damage the boss. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

The scry-device checks the best weapon/spell for every enemy. It's really idiot-proof :) -------------------- Slartucker: * facepalm facepalm facepalm * Dikiyoba: Are you unconscious yet? Posts: 1420 | Registered: Wednesday, October 2 2002 07:00 |

What happens when you try to use a wand? Do you get the chance to select a target or does it fail before then? (Are there even any valid targets within range when you try to use it?) Do any error messages appear in the message window? [ Sunday, March 06, 2005 18:34: Message edited by: Thuryl ] -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! I will use Scry in this example. I click on the button to use Scry. I choose monster a. It says that I have used Scry, but it doesn't do anything. -------------------- Trouser Snake. Mustakrakish. Infiltrators? No. Agents? YES!! Posts: 79 | Registered: Monday, February 21 2005 08:00 |

I just killed Zauberer, but now I have no idea how to get out of the catacomb (the entrance is walled off). I'm not sure whether there was any loop error message like some others have got after that battle (I didn't check the status box in time). I'm using the version downloaded from Spidweb's site (1.0.3). Any advice? Look at the giant, raised area in the center. (Some of these questions will be answered in v1.0.4's readme) -------------------- * Posts: 6936 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

Ouch. Apparently, I didn't hit the script area for the message of "You are trapped. There has to be some way out here...", which makes that thing on the platform appear. Thanks. By the way: "There used to be a wall here, but now there isn't." I have the feeling that sentence should run differently. :) Edit: Especially since the message you get after defeating Adlerauge and going to the west is "There weren't walls here previously." Which makes little sense, since those walls have just disappeared. Also, Emery J. Bishop is one heck of a clever name, Mr Jeremy LeVeque. :P Also, you appear to have redefined the concept of "secret fortress entrances".
